Hotel Vigla - Amorgos is located in the entrance of the traditional village of Tholaria, overlooking Aegiali’s bay with its beautiful, arch-shaped, sandy beach. We called it Vigla in reference to the nearby site of the Acropolis of ancient Aegiali. Hotel Vigla - Amorgos is a complex of three buildings with 25 comfortable, modern rooms, built according to the traditional Cycladic architecture. At Hotel Vigla - Amorgos you can enjoy traditional greek hospitality. In our restaurant, you may also enjoy the traditional homemade dishes of our island, lovingly prepared using wholesome, pure ingredients in our cuisine.

ROOMS
Hotel Vigla - Amorgos features 25 comfortable, bright and beautiful decorated rooms with panoramic view. There are single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms with the option of adding a forth bed to accommodate a family of four. All rooms include air-conditioning, TV, refrigerator, telephone, hair–dryer, safe deposit box and radio.

RESTAURANT
In our restaurant, with its wonderful panoramic view, you may enjoy traditional home-made dishes of our island, prepared with our pure ingredients. Our recommendations include: pumpkin flowers, pea puree, potatoes, skimmed–milk cheese (cream cheese) and apple pie with ice cream.

WEDDINGS
Wedding in Amorgos. Vigla Hotel - Amorgos can host your wedding reception and provide full-service catering for your guests at our poolside restaurant. The wedding ceremony can take place either at the Town Hall or in one of the picturesque local churches, or alternatively on the beach, followed by a beach party with traditional and local delicacies, and music performed by a local band. Vigla Hotel - Amorgos can also arrange for a local photographer to cover the wedding with photos and video, as well as a local florist for the bride’s flower bouquet. FACILITIES
Hotel Vigla - Amorgos consists of 3 newly-built buildings, including 25 comfortable, bright and beautifully decorated rooms. It is a three-star class hotel, open from April until October. The reception is open to the public from 7:00 am. until 24:00 pm. The living room features satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet access, plus all facilities necessary for people with special needs. Hotel Vigla - Amorgos also provides spacious, free, guest parking.

INFORMATION
Tholaria, where Hotel Vigla - Amorgos is located, is 2.5 km from the port of Aegiali and the beach. You can get there either by bus or on foot by taking the old path. You can cover the distance in about 25 minutes. The distance from the capital of the island, Chora (Old Town) is 17 km. while the seaport of Katapola is 25 km. away. For your convenience, Hotel Vigla - Amorgos can arrange for taxi, rental car or moped with pick up and delivery at our hotel or any other point in Amorgos.
